The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Afula is the headquarters of the Gilboa Region and serves the residents of Afula and the Yizre’el Valley area. Afula’s total population is 42,000 and the growth estimate for 2020 is 125,000.

Arad Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Arad serves the residents of Arad as well as the large numbers of tourists and employees who work at Masada and the Dead Sea resorts. Arad has a population of 26,000 and it is estimated that this will more than double by 2020.

The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Ashdod is one of the biggest MDA regional stations in the country, serving the Mediterranean coast including Nitzanim, where many of the Gaza residents have been relocated.

Beit She'an Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Beit She’an serves the residents of the city and the kibbutzim and moshavim in the Beit She’an Valley. Beit She’an’s population is 17,000 and the estimated population by 2020 will be 21,000.

Beersheva Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Beersheva serves the city of Beersheva, which is the “Capital of the Negev” and the fifth largest city in Israel with a population of 184,500. The MDA Beersheva Station also serves the suburbs of Omer, Lehavim and Meitar as well as the local Bedouin communities including Rahat, Tel-Sheva and Laqiya.

Dimona Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Dimona is 23 miles south of Beersheva and 22 miles west of the Dead Sea in the Negev Dessert. The third largest city in the region, with 50,000 inhabitants, Dimona was one of several “development towns” created in the 1950s at the initiative of David Ben Gurion. Settled initially by North African new immigrants, the city grew when the Israel nuclear program located there. Dimona is also the center of the “Black Hebrews,” a small religious community.

Jerusalem Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Jerusalem which was built in 1963 and renovated and expanded in 1970, is obsolete and insufficient to serve the city's growing needs. Jerusalem's population is continuing to grow at a rapid pace and it is estimated to reach 950,000 in the next ten years.

Nazareth Station
The Nazareth Ilit MDA Emergency Medical Station serves the residents of the city and vicinity, including a sizable Russian émigré community. Nazareth Ilit has a population of 52,000, of which nearly 50% are recent immigrants, and it is estimated that it will grow to 94,000 by 2020. In addition, the Station serves the 60,000 people living in Nazareth, predominantly a Muslim and Christian Arab city which draws many Christian pilgrims. The city also has the largest industrial zone in the area including high tech, industrial and development companies.

Rehovot Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Rehovot serves the residents of the city and vicinity. The Station also operates the Yavne Dispatch Station. Rehovot is located ten miles southeast of Tel Aviv and has a population of 114,000. It is estimated to reach 150,000 residents by 2020. 33 percent of the residents are religious; 21% are college/university students and graduates. The city is home to the prestigious Weizmann Institute of Science and the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Sderot Station
The MDA Emergency Medical Station in Sderot serves the residents of the city and vicinity. Sderot is located only one kilometer from the Gaza Strip and has constantly been a target for Qassam rockets and mortar rounds fired by Palestinian militants. Sderot’s total population stands at 23,000 and it is estimated that it will grow to 35,000 by 2020.
