Jordan Dakoff passes out AFMDA Red bracelets to her classmates at the Moriah Early Childhood Center in Deerfield, IL to teach them about tzedakah.  Jordan is the daughter of Howard and Melissa Dakoff. Howard initiated campaigns Operation One Ambulance in 2002 and Project MDA 18 in 2009 which raised over $200,000 for AFMDA.  Melissa is a member of the Young Women’s Division and coordinates multiple events in the Chicago area.  AFMDA thanks the Dakoff family for their continuous support. Uri Shacham, MDA Chief of Staff, visits Professor Michael Rydelnik’s Jewish studies class at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.  Uri spoke to students and faculty about the life-saving work of MDA in Israel and worldwide.

Mobile Intensive Care Unit Displayed at Buffalo Grove Invitational Fine Art Festival

After returning from a recent trip to Israel, 10th District Congressional candidate Robert Dold (left) got a chance to view a Mobile Intensive Care Unit up close with Festival Director Amy Amdur of Amdur Productions (right), which stages thirteen art fairs throughout the west, north and northwest suburbs and Chicago every weekend in the summer.  In the middle is Sandy Rosen, AFMDA Midwest Region Director.
